With another traveler, which I met in the hostel in Tokyo, I planned to visit the teamLab art facility. But it didn't stop there - our evening had other highlights!

A visit to teamLab Planets
In any case, this digital art facility is worth a visit. The exhibition is divided into 2 areas, a water area and a garden area. At the beginning you had to take off your shoes and lock them away, and then you walked barefoot through the exhibition. Right from the start you were warned that you will partly go knee-deep through water, so that you also roll up your pants far enough.

Through quite narrow dark corridors, one was then gradually led into the various rooms.

An interplay of light, shapes, colors and reflections as well as elements such as water and earth (in the form of plants) made the visit a real experience. There were no limits to the creativity for funny pictures.
Tip: Reserve tickets for the visit in any case at least a few days in advance. When we were there, we have reserved 2 days in advance and already had little more choice regarding the time slot!
In search of the rainbow bridge
After we left the exhibition, we walked around a bit in the harbor area. According to Google Maps, there should also be a very long rainbow bridge in the area and since it was already dark, we thought it would certainly be a great motif to find the rainbow bridge. We walked for a long time and according to the map this bridge should be very close to us, but we couldn't find it. We had a great view over the Tokyo skyline though, so it was worth the walk at best.

Afterwards, I realized that we had seen the Rainbow Bridge after all, and I even photographed it very often that evening. There you realize again how strongly a certain idea can be manifested and in the moment no other option seems possible. The so-called "Rainbow Bridge" shone that evening in white color.

For this reason, we perceived it as a bridge but not THE bridge.
Unicorn Gundam Statue
Our walk that evening then led us to our last destination, the Unicorn Gundam statue. This almost 20 meter high statue can be found in front of the shopping center "Diver City" and is very well known in this country from a Japanese science fiction universe.

The statue has different functions and there are shows several times a day in which it changes slightly, and mode changes.
Overall it was a great evening. A nice experience at the beginning with little plan loszumarschieren and then still cool places of Tokyo to have gotten to know. And also a bit surprising that rainbow can also be white sometimes. Thank you Lucie for a lovely evening! 😊
Where did you walk the last time just on it? And what did you experience?
